Though I'm still reeling from the cost of this head-gasket and valve repair (over $5K) I have to say that Bruce and his team did an excellent job, diagnosing, explaining the problems step by step, carefully checking at each stage, and bringing the poor car back home

They are a long standing local business. I have a lot of peace of mind with the vehicle and with the level of service. As an ongoing client, I called Ackermans today when my daughter had a sudden emergency problem with her subaru. They fit her in and checked the problem and diagnosed what two subaru dealers had missed.
