For the first six years I owned a Volvo, I was tied to a dealership in San Leandro for warranty service (I live in Berkeley). This year I decided to break free! On a recommendation of the guy who sold me the car years ago, I picked Ackermans and just had my first visit. I'm very happy with the service — it was going to cost exactly what the estimate said, but Bruce called me to say he recommended flushing the brake fluid and asked whether I wanted them to do that. I appreciated being asked.
