Thanks, folks at AckermanS, for help figuring out what to do with our old S70!

Service was extremely prompt; staff is very friendly (especially front man, Bruce). Ackerman's provides rides while one's car is being service via Lyft which is quite upscale! I had been having my car serviced at another place in Berkeley which no longer services Volvos but their staff seems to now look down on their long-time customers as their staff is all about 12 years old so not geared toward customer service which really makes the nice people at Ackerman's stand out.

Always Ackerman’s is my car mantra for my 2004 Volvo XC70 wagon. The level of knowledge gives me confidence in their diagnosis and the maintenance has kept my car in great shape. Bruce and Daryl are professional and personable. It’s the best car service provider I’ve ever dealt with.

Bruce was friendly and professional. Mechanic Adam went with me on a test drive to diagnose the problem, which turned out to be axle/CV joint and bad wheel bearings. Fortunately, these were covered by Subaru warranty and dealer replaced both at no cost. Ackerman's charged me only $80 for diagnosis. i'll be back in the future. Thanks.

I try to keep my Volvo well maintained so that I never had any unpleasant surprises on the road. Since I know almost nothing about what is under the hood, I rely on my mechanic to keep the car in good shape. Bruce has done this for me, and I greatly appreciate his high standards and knowledge of Volvos.

I called them up on a Friday afternoon and they got me in and back out within a few hours for an issue with my power steering. Thanks guys!
