They are happy to work on old Volvos. I have an old Volvo and they were able to review the condition of the car for me and recommend what work needed to be done. They did a good job and were easy to work with.

My Volvo v50 is, as usual, totally satisfied with the service it recently received at Ackerman's. So is it's owner. Highly recommend!

Ackerman’s did a super job! I have an older Volvo that failed to pass the smog test. Bruce and a mechanic figured out the problem and what needed to be done to fix it. The car passed the smog test. What a gift.

i always receive excellent service at Ackerman's. Bruce always answers all of my questions...and I often have many questions...and Bruce explains what is needed and then when I come back to get my car, he tells me what has been done for my car. A ride to take me home and then bring me back is always provided. I highly recommend Ackerman's.

I have an old '99 Volvo S70, which is notorious for NOT passing the Smog Test. As part of my 6 months service check, Adam did a test drive on the freeway. He told me the Smog Test problem had to do with the computer codes & something related to an "anti-theft" device on the car. Miraculously, whatever he did to "fix" the problem allowed me to pass the Smog Test on the first try. I have been taking my Volvo to Ackerman's for 18 years & always feel that I have received excellent service on my car.

The service is excellent! Bruce always keeps you appraised of what needs to be done. There are no surprises, which is greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Ackermans.
