Ackerman's team provides the best Subaru service in town. We are strong advocates of "buy Berkeley" and Bruce and the crew make it a "no-brainer." Our Subaru needs only standard service on an infrequent basis as it is a low use car for us but Ackerman's is able to take care of basic service perfectly along with everything else that happens to a car that sits around a lot - dents from the neighbor's trash can, windshield haze that no standard cleaner will remove, etc.

Ackerman's consistently keeps the budget for maintenance and repairs to what's necessary, they have and would never try to upsell me on something that isn't needed. They are flexible and pleasant to deal with. They also donate 5% of what I spend to my kids' schools. I'll keep going there for my Volvo maintenance and repair forever.

Ackerman's high ratings are richly deserved. The technicians demonstrate experience, the ability to troubleshoot and expertise and Bruce, in the front office, is knowledgeable, personable, and patient. This is not to deny that Volvos are very expensive to work on so hold on to your hat. In addition, I believe that Ackerman's is honest and forthright.
